Ocean in an egg carton Workshop

Hello families,

This trimestre, students from 1st and 2nd grade have been making an ocean in an egg carton.

In our first session, we painted recycled egg cartons blue. It sounds easy, but it was hard to cover the egg cartons completely. We had fun painting them and also cleaning up afterwards.

In the second sessions we had to do two things. First, colour in the title with markers and cut it out. Second,choose some sea animals like whales, fishes, seahorses...even mermaids, and draw the silhouette, with the help of a stencil, before cutting it out carefully.

And finally, we exhibited our pieces of ocean. They are beautiful, aren’t they?
